VAL DI CORNIA SUVERETO - SANGIOVESE DOC
Usilio comes from the word Usil, which in the Etruscan language means sun. The vineyards used in the making of this wine are those with the greatest exposure to sunlight. This wine comes from the highest vineyards of Sangiovese in all the Val di Cornia. The grapes are grown in a single vineyard that faces south, southeast, where Sangiovese matures slowly and develops colors and structure that are difficult to obtain in hot-dry climates.
